IIPM, based on the extensive feedback and request from the
industry & participants has organized this workshop. The salient
features and deliverables of this workshop are as below:

This workshop is chiefly based on PMBOK®
Guide of PMI®, USA. Irrespective of your current level of awareness, at the end
of 4 days' session the participants will
go out like an experienced professional Project Manager.

All participants will earn 35-PDUs towards PMP
Continuing Certification Requirement (CCR) or 35 hours of PM education
contact hours. This is a practical hands-on workshop wherein the
participants will participate in Initiating, Planning, Executing,
Monitoring & Controlling and Closing a real-time IT/ Construction Project.

This will be a role-play game wherein the participants
will be assigned various project Stakeholder roles and performs the role
activity in a simulated project environment under the supervision of an
experienced International faculty. Thus, the participants will, at the
end of the course, go out with the satisfaction of each one having managed
a real-time project on his/her own.

Participant will be divided into work-groups and develop necessary template
from most of the Process areas as per PMBOK® Guide as deemed fit within the purview of
the course.

Participants in small groups
will develop a project schedule in MS Project® in real-time which will
mainly include demonstration of WBS generation, dependency relationship, Resource Allocation,
Use of Lead & Lag, Finding out FLOAT and TOTAL FLOAT, Critical Path,
identification of near-critical path, Resource over allocation, Resource
leveling, Time-Cost trade-off, and a few PMIS reports.

PMBOK® Guide-2008 - One copy per participant.

The another unique feature of the Workshop will be
each participant learning at the end of the course how to construct a S-curve
using EVM principles and how to find out the status of a project using the
BCWS, BCWP, ACWP & finally forecast the estimate at completion and schedule
for senior management reporting. Pitfalls of EVM technique will also be
highlighted.

A copy of all the templates developed (hardcopy as well as softcopy
)will be provided to all the participants for further use.

Risk Management including
identification, Qualitative and Quantitative analysis and Risk Responses will
be given special attention.
